I am Yahweh thy Elohim, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other dceities before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahweh thy Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Thou shalt not take the name of Yahweh thy Elohim in vain; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yahweh thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days YAHWEH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yahweh blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which Yahweh thy Elohim giveth thee. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for Elohim is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
Revelation 22:14 BLESSED ARE THEY THAT
DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, THAT THEY MAY HAVE RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE, AND MAY
ENTER IN THROUGH THE GATES INTO THE CITY.
So, only if you keep the commandments of Yahweh, shall you have access to this
tree, AND enter into the city that Yahshua have prepared for you. Now you
must learn the commandments.
Matthew 22:35-40
Then
one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and
saying, Master, which is the great commandment in The law? Yahshua said unto
him, Thou shalt love Yahweh thy Elohim with all thy HEART, and with all thy
SOUL, and with all thy MIND. This is the first and great
commandment. This is in fact the first
and
greatest, because if you love him, you will put no other el before him, and
you will be obedient to him, IF he's your Elohim. Also consider that you are
right now, using your mind to read his commandments right now. If you love
him with all your mind, then you would also use your mind to KEEP his
commandments. This is why Paul says in
Romans 7:25
I thank God through Yahshua Messiah our Master. So then
with THE MIND I MYSELF SERVE THE LAW OF ELOHIM; but with THE FLESH THE LAW OF
SIN. p>
Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone that
saith unto
me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but HE THAT DOETH THE
WILL OF MY FATHER which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out
devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
All
of these people have taken the name of the "Lord", and have performed all of
these wonderful works in the name of the "Lord". But instead of getting
the reward of the righteous...) And then
will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I pray that I won't be in THAT
number. I pray
that you won't likewise be among that number, also. One thing that should be
understood is that Yahshua didn't reject these because of their good
works, he rejected them because they did NOT do the will of the father, and
that's to keep
the commandments. Here in this present time, you have a multitude of people
that are doing all of these wonderful works in the name of Jesus, which is a different name entirely, but nevertheless they are
preaching, "casting out devils," and doing all kinds of wonderful works, but
they are not keeping and teaching Yahweh's laws and statutes, so these are
what he referred to as "workers of iniquity."
Hebrews 6:4-7
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted
of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
(Once again, here we have an example of
those who have taken the name
of Yahweh thy Elohim.) And have tasted the
good word of
Elohim, and the powers of the WORLD TO COME,
Hebrews 10:26-28
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received
the knowledge of the truth, (Yet, another
example of
those who have taken the name of Yahweh in vain.)
there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Needless to
say, about 99%
(and thats being generous) of the people out here that say that they are
feeding the flock of Elohim, are actually feeding themselves by telling the
people what the people WANT to hear and not "what thus sayeth Yahweh."
Needless to say, they have taken the name of "the Lord" in vain, and whether
they repent or not, Elohim...shall reward them according to their works.
Yahshua, and the apostles, after
Yahshua's death
and resurrection, observed the seventh day sabbath. Nowhere in the Bible does
it show that the sabbath day was changed. The next
chapter will provide more insight concerning the Yahweh's sabbath. All of
these previous
commandments, Yahshua didn't stress as much as the latter commandments
because all of Israel (Yahshua was only sent to Israel) knew that they
should not put no other gods before Yahweh, that they should not serve idols,
and that they should keep the sabbath day. Israel's conduct toward his
brother, or the "second great commandment" was what Israel needed a
refresher course on. Here is
something
worth noting. Yahshua showed you an example of the law that was "contrary to
us" that he nailed on the cross as mentioned in
Colossians 2:14. In John 8
The Pharisees brought a woman to Yahshua that was
taken in adultery. They cited to Yahshua that Moses in the law, commanded
that she should be stoned. We all have sinned.
Every one of us would be subject to this law, and THIS law was contrary to
us. If the blood of a bull or goat could've saved this woman's life, then
THAT law (the sacrificial law) would've been for her, but in this case, her
blood was required. This is the law that was against us. Yahshua told the
Pharisees that if any of them were without sin, then they could cast the
first stone at her. Not only did the Pharisees come to grips with the fact
that
they had sin, but they also HAD to realize that they were subject to the
same judgement law, that they were about to afflict on this woman. And guess
what. Yahshua made intercession for this woman, even before he died. And
after the Pharisees went their way. He told her to "GO, AND SIN NO MORE."
When
we come under the blood of Yahshua, our "sins that are past"
(Romans 3:25) has been forgiven and
we
are no longer to serve sin.
When you look around at this world that we all
live in, sometimes you can't help but see how conditions appear to get
worse and worse on a global scale. There are reasons for this and Yahweh had
put his words in the mouth of Isaiah to show us why the world is in the
condition it's in. Isaiah was a prophet, and this passage is a prophecy.
Isaiah 24:4-6 The earth
mourneth and fadeth
away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth
do languish. No wonder John
the Baptist, Yahshua, and the apostles came preaching REPENTENCE. If the
leaders of this world had the knowledge and the will to repent from their
sins, can you imagine how there would be a significantly decrease in wars
and deplorable living conditions for the poor, and ethnic strife? God is
still seeking those that are serious about following him and teaching
others to do the same.
Now we will end this chapter with
words written by
John, that are never read (or read and misconstrued) in the churches today.
1 John 2:3-6
And hereby WE DO KNOW that we know him, IF we keep his commandments. Is this a deep passage or what? The love of
Elohim is PERFECTED in all those that keep his commandments. As stated earlier,
even the LEAST of the commandments. The love of Elohim is NOT perfected in
them that preach that you don't have to keep the commandments.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself
also so to walk, even as HE walked.
We don't even have to guess Yahshua walked in the will of the Father
by keeping his laws, statutes, and ordinances. He was an example to us
showing us that we can also do likewise.
Grace & Peace in the
name of Yahshua.
