Yahweh's Sanctified Diet The words “holiness” and “sanctification” are two words that are used quite often in many churches. Unfortunately, they are usually not used in the original context of the Bible. “Sanctification” is a process of being separated for a particular purpose and “holiness” is being of Yahweh. When a person is sanctified and holy, then that person is separated from the rudiments and traditions of the world unto the holiness of Yahweh. Again, it’s very unfortunate that many people go about establishing their own righteousness, or their own form of holiness, and not submit themselves to the holiness of Yahweh that he has clearly laid out in his word. The whole purpose is to enter into the kingdom of Yahweh at it’s coming, and unless you submit yourself to the righteousness of Elohim, . . . In this section, we’re going to deal with one aspect of holiness and sanctification, and that is through Yahweh’s Dietary Law. We will begin this by looking at a segment of one of Paul’s letters that many, as Peter said, “which are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” You have to have a good understanding of the scriptures (the Old Testament) in order to understand Paul’s letters. I Timothy 4:1-5 Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and COMMANDING to abstain from meats which Elohim hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. Here, Paul is stating how in these last days there will be a group of people which shall teach doctrines of devils. They speak lies in hypocrisy by claiming to be Elohim’s church and their leader claims to be the “vicar” (replacement of Messiah). With this type of ideology, their conscience would HAD to have been seared with a hot iron! They forbid some of their flock to marry and even forbid (at least on certain days) the eating of meats that Yahweh have created to be eatened and still NOT forbid the meats that Yahweh said to NOT eat. For every creature of Elohim is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:For it is sanctified by the word of Elohim and prayer. Every creature of Yahweh IS good, but it is good for whatever purpose Elohim created it for. Elephants, monkeys, lions, tigers and bears (OH MY!) are examples of animals that were NOT created to be eaten. I, and my dog Tuffy, are also creatures of Elohim, and if you believe that ANYTHING can be eatened, then we would have to watch our back whenever we’re in your presence. {:o) Let us go and look in Yahweh’s word and read where the creatures are sanctified according to which can and cannot be eaten. Leviticus 11:1-12, 44-46 And Yahweh spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among ALL the beasts that are on the earth. Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is UNCLEAN unto you. And the coney, (beaver and badger) because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the hare, (rabbit) because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the SWINE, . . .(PIG!) . . . though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is UNCLEAN to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you. These shall ye eat of ALL that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat. And all that HAVE NOT fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an ABOMINATION unto you... Open your scriptures to read the rest of this ordinance of cleanliness that the Most High ordained for us to keep. . . . For I am YAHWEH your Elohim: ye shall therefore SANCTIFY YOURSELVES, and ye shall be HOLY; FOR I AM holy: neither shall ye DEFILE YOURSELVES . . THIS is how I know Yahshua wasn’t speaking of unclean foods in Matthew 15 which we shall read shortly. Yahweh said that unclean foods in fact defile you, and IF not from anything else, then definitely from disobedience. . . . with ANY manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. For I am Yahweh your Elohim that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim: ye shall be holy, for I am holy. THIS is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that moveth upon the earth: To make a difference (separate, SANCTIFY) between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten. HOW CAN I ADD TO THAT? The Most High is showing us how he have sanctified (separated) the clean from the unclean animals. There is no place in the scriptures that state that this dietary law will cease at Yahshua’s coming. Yahweh had sanctified the clean from the unclean even before Moses was born. He commanded Noah to separate the clean animals from the unclean animals. Genesis 7:1-2 And YAHWEH said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Of every CLEAN beast thou shalt take to thee by SEVENS, the male and his female: and of beasts that are NOT CLEAN by TWO, the male and his female. There’s a good Biblical trivia question for ya. Isn’t it amazing how many people never knew, because the churches do not teach, that Yah put the clean animals in the ark by sevens? We shall read verses that teachers/elders/pastors have tried to use to say that these Dietary laws have been done away with. Before we get there though, let’s read a prophecy that is yet to be fulfilled. Isaiah 65:2-6 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, AFTER THEIR OWN THOUGHTS; A people that PROVOKETH ME TO ANGER CONTINUALLY to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; Which remain among the graves, and LODGE in the monuments, WHICH EAT SWINE’S FLESH, and broth of ABOMINABLE things is in their vessels; Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near me; for I am HOLIER THAN THOU... These are the so-called “holy and sanctified” people that are being prophesied about. We also see where the term “holier than thou” comes from. Amaze your friends with this SECOND piece of trivia. ...These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day. Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom. Isaiah 66:15-18,22 For behold, YAHWEH will come with FIRE, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his ANGER with FURY, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will Yahweh plead with all flesh: and the SLAIN OF YAHWEH SHALL BE MANY. They that SANCTIFY THEMSELVES, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, EATING SWINE’S FLESH, AND THE ABOMINATION, and the MOUSE, shall be consumed together, saith Yahweh. For I know their works, and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather ALL NATIONS and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory . . . . . . . For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Yahweh, so shall your seed and your name remain. We see that the same Isaiah that prophesied about the coming of Messiah Yahshua, . . . BOTH comings in fact, prophesied the destruction of those that continue to be abominable in Yahweh’s eyes by breaking his (dietary) law. {:o) Matthew 15:1-11,15-20 Then came to Yahshua scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the TRADITION OF THE ELDERS? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them,, Why do ye also transgress the COMMANDMENT OF ELOHIM BY your tradition? For Elohim commanded, saying, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, He that curseth father of mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me. And honour NOT his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have you made the commandments of Elohim of none effect BY YOUR TRADITIONS. Let’s note here that Yahshua’s issue here with the Pharisees was because THEY DID NOT keep the commandments of Elohim. Had they kept Yahweh’s commandments and the disciples had broken the commandments, then THEY would have been in the right... If they could have went in the scriptures and showed the disciples being in error for not washing their hands. THEY wasn’t because they thought more highly of their own traditions than Yahweh’s commandments. Also, keep in mind that everyone here was only eating clean meats, so clean and unclean meats were not the issue here. It was about doing things that was contrary to Yahweh. Yahshua gave them an example of how they created a "tradition" that kept them from honoring their mother and father which is a commandment. . . . Ye HYPOCRITES, well did Esaias (Isaiah 29:13) prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth near unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. But IN VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME, teaching for DOCTRINES the COMMANDMENTS OF MEN. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man . . . . . . Then answered PETER . . . (Keep PETER in mind as the one that wanted to understand what Yahshua was saying here, as there will be a test later. {:o) ...and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Yahshua said, Are ye also without understanding? Do not ye understand that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but TO EAT WITH UNWASHEN HANDS defileth not a man. Yahshua’s point was concerning the tradition which they held concerning unwashed hands. To eat with unwashed hands do not defile you. Peter knew what Yahshua was saying and he didn’t think, “Ok, I can go and eat pig meat now.” We shall see in this next passage. Acts 10:1-20, 26-28 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band. A DEVOUT MAN, and one that FEARED ELOHIM, with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to Elohim alway. He saw in a vision . . . Yahweh sends an angel to Cornelius the Italian who was a devout man of Elohim but was still alienated from the promises. The angel tells Cornelius to go and find Simon Peter, and he will bring Cornelius into the adoption of the household of Israel through Yahshua. Cornelius sends some of his men to get Peter. Now lets see what is happening with Peter at this time. On the morrow as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: And he became hungry and would have eaten: but while they made ready., he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down on the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. I like to ask people, especially those that profess Messiah, what they would have done in this situation. Obviously their answer is usually something to the effect of, “I would’ve started chowing down!” Then I’d say, “Who-oa, you must know something that Peter didn’t know then.” BUT Peter said, Not so, Master; for I HAVE NEVER EATEN any thing that is common or unclean. We clearly see that Peter knew what Yahshua meant in Matthew 15, and he didn’t start eating unclean animals. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What Elohim hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Now you’d thought that Peter was ready to eat up some stuff now. He already was hungry before the vision came which could have been why Yahweh sent this vision to him. The question is . . . did he understand this vision to be about food? Could Yahweh have, for some strange reason, went back on sanctifying the clean and the unclean? A lot of people say at this point, “I know what the vision meant,” to which I reply, “If Peter didn’t know what the vision meant at that point then how do you know what it mean?” Peter, having a knowledge of the scripts knew that it would have been IMPOSSIBLE for Yahweh to have went back on his commandments, especially considering the fact that the scriptures didn’t bare record of this change in the Dietary Laws. Look what he did. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. Now while Peter DOUBTED in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate . . . . . . While Peter hadn’t a clue what Yahweh was trying to tell him, Peter KNEW what Yah WASN’T trying to tell him and that was that he had changed his mind, and all of a sudden, the pig that was called an ABOMINATION, was now clean. Especially when you consider that the same Isaiah that prophesied the first coming of Yahshua, also prophesied about his second coming and all that he would do to those that eat swine’s flesh and other abominations while knowing that it is an unrighteous act. . . . While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold three men seek thee. Arise therefore and get thee down with them DOUBTING NOTHING: . . . Remember, Peter had doubted in himself the meaning of the vision. . . . for I have sent them . . . The Italian men reveal what happened to Cornelius and THEN Peter understood at that time what the vision meant. It was the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophesies concerning Yahweh admitting the Gentiles into the commonwealth of Israel through the grace given to us by Yahshua’s sacrifice. Peter go with the men to meet Cornelius and here’s what happened. . . . And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. This is funny how this Italian was bowing down to an Israelite and at the same time, Peter (the Israelite) tells the Italian not to do that because Peter knew that Yahweh didn’t like men to be reverenced like that. But the Italian church (the Catholics) deceive many people telling them that Peter (the Israelite) was the first “pope.” How idiotic can that be? Peter didn’t allow reverence to be given to him, neither flattering titles, and he was also married. Have anyone ever seen a “pope” refrain someone from showing him reverence. Are they allowed to marry? And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but Elohim hath shewed me that I should not call any MAN (NOT FOOD) common or unclean... Afterwards, the apostles proceeded, and especially after Paul’s conversion, to preach and convert the Gentiles. Acts 13:46-47 Then Paul and Barnabus waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of Elohim should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. Many people focus on the fact that Paul was speaking about the Jews as being unworthy of everlasting life, but they forget the fact that all the apostles WERE Jews/Israelites, and the only way the Gentiles could come and join themselves to the covenant that Yahweh made with Israel was through the adoption of Israel. For so hath Yahweh commanded US, saying, I have set THEE for a LIGHT of the GENTILES, that THOU shouldest be for SALVATION unto the ends of the earth. Before we conclude this chapter, let’s read a passage concerning false prophets that ignore Yahweh’s Holy Days and Yahweh’s Dietary Law. Ezekiel 22:25-28 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put NO difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. And her prophets have daubed them with untempered mortar, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim, when YAH And her prophets have daubed them with untempered mortar, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim, when YAHWEH hath not spoken. If this passage fits you, or your pastor/preacher/bishop, then you’d better take heed.
